In the heart of the Upper Galilee lies Kerem Eviatar winery.
A story about a childhood dream coming true, a dream that comes out of the love of the land of Israel and to its yield - the wine.
The winery is located in the heart of the Upper Galilee. The vineyards are planted in the slopes of mount Eviatar, at an altitude of 780 meter above sea level.
The location of the vineyards which is an ideal microclimate to the Upper Galilee; the use of advanced Agro technology alongside strict water regime, and precision of low yield for the vine; the land structure in the vineyard combines terra - rosa, limestone, and basalt; the devoted care, passion and creativity together with knowledge and advanced technology - all in all enable great conditions of growing grapes.
Kerem Eviatar is a family boutique winery which currently produces about 20,000 bottles a year. This in order to give a personal attention to each bottle and to ensure high quality in the production process.
The winery was established in 2014 by two childhood friends: Yesha'ayahu Schwartz, the winemaker, and Mordecai Buhbut, the son of wine growers and farmers who learned, produced and breathed from a young age the creation of wine and the cultivation of grapes.
The winery has two wine series:
Eretz Naftaly - named after the Naftaly tribe that was located in this area. And Eviatar - name after the vineyard planted on mount Eviatar.
The winery produces kosher wines and honors the history and geography of the Land of Israel which are presented in the names of the wines, in the designed labels and in the vineyard topography where the grapes came from.
Over the years, the winery's wines have won praise and awards and enjoy high credibility among wine lovers.
The winery exports its wines to the US and Europe and is also found in wine stores, hotles and restaurants in Israel.
