Wine Characteristics:
Bright black/purple color, deep and unique spicing, with a powerful nose, full body, and a long-lasting spice finish.
Aging: The grapes were hand-harvested separately. The Sira and Petit Sira were picked first. The Sira fermented at low temperatures to preserve primary fruit characteristics, while the Petit Sira fermented at higher temperatures to give the wine a fuller body. The wine was aged for about 20 months in French oak barrels.
Aging Potential: The wine is ready to drink but will reach its peak around 3 years from vintage and can improve for 8 to 10 years from vintage under proper storage conditions.
